Hyperloop technology, conceptualized in the early 2010s, involves propelling passenger or cargo pods through a low-pressure tube at high speeds. The Boring Company has been developing and testing its own version of this concept, with prior projects including tunnels for autonomous vehicle transport in Las Vegas.
